As Dads, we have to step up and do what we have been called to do. We must stop at nothing to do what we have been purposed to do. We instinctively know how to be Dads and raise our kids. Interestingly, many of us are not taught by our Dads, how to be a Dad. I see mothers and grandmothers telling boys how to dress, how to walk, how to shake hands, and how to approach life.
This ought not be!

Where are the fathers to teach their sons? We were created for this! And only we can do what we can do. Don't let your child's mother take your place. Don't let your child's grandmother take your place. And whatever you do, don't let some other man take your place. This is a special task that only you can complete. So do it, and do it well.
God Made Daddy's
God made Daddy’s strong
So they can carry us when we get tired
God made Daddy’s smart
So they can teach us important life lessons along our journey
God made Daddy’s fun
So we will always know that we have a friend in this world
God, made Daddy’s
God made Daddy’s loving
So we will never feel alone
God made Daddy’s courageous
So they will be brave to fight off whatever may try to scare us
God made Daddy’s passionate
So they will always remain committed to us
God, made Daddy’s
God made Daddy’s super
So anytime we need a hero, we just have to whisper is name and he’s there
God made Daddy’s hard workers
So we never have to worry about lack
God made Daddy’s patient
So we can take our time when things are difficult to express
God, made Daddy’s
God made Daddy’s kind
So they can hold us when we need to be held
God made Daddy’s with strong voices
So no one will try to harm us
God made Daddy’s wise
So they always know what to do to fix it
God, made Daddy’s
God made Daddy’s trustworthy
So we can always trust them to keep our secrets
God made Daddy’s caring
So we always have someone to tend to our hurts
God made Daddy’s promise keepers
So we always know who we can count on
God made your Daddy and He made him just for you.
He knew exactly what you would need as you would grow up through life.
God loves you more than you can ever imagine.
That’s why He gave you the great gift of a Daddy.
We should be thankful to have our Daddy’s because not all people do.
And how much more grateful should we be when our Daddy’s love us?
A good Daddy loves spending time with his children.
He loves to see them smile and hear them laugh.
A good Daddy loves to give his children good gifts.
He takes them places he knows they will enjoy.
A good Daddy teaches and corrects his children.
Then he holds them close so they can feel how much he loves them.
A good Daddy let’s his children know it’s okay to make a mistake.
Then he smiles and let’s his children try again.
Not only did God make you to be a Daddy, but He made you to be the best Daddy!
And no matter what kind of Daddy your father was or is, you have the opportunity to
improve on his teachings and examples for your children.
