I've had this question be asked of me probably more than any other question: "How do you know when to call it quits and throw in the towl?" Have you ever wondered that? I'm sure you have. It's a very real question. When should you stop spending money? When do you stop spending time, battling in a war that is fixed?

It's my humble opinion that a hero's job is never done.

Ready yourself, because you will probably be fighting for a very long time. It's a sad reality, but you better remember this one thing, if you stop fighting, no one is fighting. Your kids don't stand a chance. You're not just their last hope, you are their only hope. That's why you must win. And in order for you to win, you can never retreat and never surrender.

I'll be among the first to admit that the journey isn't always easy. But I can assure you from personal experience that it is most definitely worth it.

I don't know where you are in your journey today, but I want to encourage you to not lose heart. Don't faint. Don't give up. Don't throw in the towel. I need you to win. But more importantly, your kid(s) need you to save them and save the day. You have what it takes to stay in the fight. Get creative. Humble yourself and talk with family and friends. Ask for what you need help with. Do whatever it takes. But never let surrender be an option.
